The Challenge
The client faced significant latency issues during peak trading hours. Their legacy system could not handle simultaneous data streams, leading to dropped packets and frustrated users. The infrastructure was buckling under the weight of its own success, requiring a complete rethink of how data was ingested and processed.
The Engineering
We deprecated the old framework and implemented a custom, high-performance architecture. By optimizing the database queries and using a bespoke frontend engine, we eliminated bloat. We introduced a distributed caching layer and rewrote the core transaction loop in a lower-level language for maximum throughput.
